Replacing The Motherboard.

I have a 1.0 Xbox and have installed my Xbit and it works fine with the exception of the stealth mode whcih doesnt work at all. I was just wondering if there are benefits to upgrading to a later motherboard, in general and in relation to the Xbit chip.
