Check the thread 'My x-bit doesn't seem to work' and you'll see that you are not the only one with the same problem.
Mine doesn't work either. You are riight, the documentation is crap and does not cover everything.
In the bios selction diagrams it cleary marks the STM swicth, but on my chip its not marked at all. Perhaps those are pictures of a 1.0 chip.
I am started to get annoyed at this stage. Except for the help of people on this board there seems to be nothing.
