Xbit 1.5 Frag With Xbox V1.3

Just got my hands on the new X-Bit 1.5 for my 2nd xbox. installed the chip fine, connected the new power cable to the dvd rom, flashed the chip with several different bioses (evox m7, evox m8, X2 4980) but no matter what I always get the red/green flashing startup with a code 16 error. Dropped my old xbit 1.0 into it and away it went. Anyone know what could be causing this problem?
