Xbit Refuses To Flash

Hello,

I just received my 1.5 xbit chip. I try to flash it on both of my computers, the 1.5 software doesnt even TRY to connect as far as I can tell (hit connect, it just doesnt do anything), the 1.0 software says it connected but it gives a crapload of error popup boxes (something about "cannot read response"). My main computer is an Asus A7n8X motherboard, my other computer is an Abit VA-10. Please help, this is really frustrating!

the green LED is one, ive tried both stealth switch settings, it does it if its install in my xbox or not.
