Hi people i am chipping my mates X-Box and i have discovered its a v1.4, I have read through the forum and am i right in thinking i have to do something different i did it the normal way before you scrap the do and just tighten the screw but xbox didnt boot.  I decided to cover the end 2 pins the ones that stick out for the do with tape and the xbox booted normal so i am guessing i need to find the do and solder some wire down can somebody put me in the right direction for instructions.

dnt wurry man im havin this problem v1.4 r solidid 2 mod i think so i decided 2 do the wire install but ti still dnt work
