Yes, you can use Xecuter bios with Xbit. Here is the complete bios list.

Your chip is not properly installed if you don't notice a change. Xecuter2 bioses alter the boot screen and replace MS text with Xecuter2 text. If your Xbox still says MS, start troubleshooting from d0 point (align/scrape it).
