I am not surprised. DMS does not sell spare parts, so your reseller propably just wants to get rid off you. Ask from some other reseller and maybe they could send you one. Faulty chips are returned all the time and some resellers might have gathered spare parts stock of their own.

If you are not able to get the yellow wires, I can tell you how can you use your Xbit with the black wires only.
