Evox Not Loading And Backups Not Playing.

My xbox has stopped booting evolution x, instead it takes me to the original xbox dash and doesnt recognize backup games. Could someone please help me out?

p.s. i wasn't the one who installed the chip and dont know much about the technical part of the modding.

Yup!  Chip is out of alignment - reinstall.  This is why you do your own installations.  Invariably something eventually goes wrong.

The stickies at the top of this forum go into detail about chip installation.  Read those.

In addition you will probably also need to read the general tutorial about opening your Xbox.  I'd begin with the Newb Guide to Everything in my signature or by browsing the tutorials section linked on the menu bar at www.xbox-scene.com mainpage.

You could also contact the original installer and give it back to him or have him guide you through it.  I don't really know what to tell you.  You basically have to reinstall your chip and make sure it is properly aligned.  You have to do what the original installer did and there is no other way to handle the issue other than praying it slips back into alignment (which will only be temporary if the chip is loose and already moving).  There's just no magic button - you can either learn from the ground up or contact an installer.
