I tried updating the USB drivers on the win98 and now it won't boot into windows.  I'll have to find a windows98 cd tomorrow and reinstall.  When i try to hook the chip up to this XP my monitor goes out...  I will also try taking the chip to school and see if i can flash it there.  I hope its not a defective chip.

Well, still having problems getting my windows98 computer working, but my xbit is working yay!  I had to install it in my xbox and power the xbox up in order for me to be able to flash it.  I put X2 Bios on it and I hope it works.  I am going to go check now.
