What Do I Do If...

I'm in the same boat as you saopaid.  It acts like it is not even there (except the led is lit on the external USB connector).  I've cleaned, scraped and re-aligned but to no avail.

Either you ain't gettin d0 aligned properly, (allthough the latter post says the light is on on the outside board, so this only applies to main post, unless his light is on too..)

if not that sounds like a bum chip.

I think I too may be running into a connection problem with my XBIT.  I did the solderless install and I swear that the spiked pin is in contact with D0.  I flashed the most recent 1mb X2 bios and that's where I'm at.

I hit the power button and I see the green light on the XBIT external board and the system boots to the normal XBOX screen.

Should I see a different boot up screen with the X2 bios?  I tried to pop in a DVD-RW with an ".iso" file on it and the unit doesn't recognize it.

Does this mean the XBOX isn't recognizing the XBIT at all?

Any help would be appreciated!

Oh yea, I have a HALO Green Edition XBOX (What version is that?  1.4 or 1.5?)

If you use X2 bios, it says Xecuter2 under X logo (instead of MS).

Simple D0 check (when Xbox does not FRAG and the green light on the external piece is on):
1) Select a bios bank that does not have a bios flashed.
2) Power on Xbox.

Xbox FRAGs = D0 is ok
Xbox boots to MS dash = D0 is not ok.
