I was just wonderin. Has anyone ever thought about makin some kind of patch or hack to speed up the flashing process? after all the only reason it is so slow is because the cables are exposed and so dms had to make the transfer slow to conform guidelines. It should surely be possible

hehe... wouldnt be great to flash on a 400MB/sec speed rate?
or at least in 1MB/sec??

I am working on installing a real USB cable and header from a old PC MB. Once that is done I may see if they have a way to open up the speeds a bit. Worst case, I will have a nice clean install with no external wires or PCB boards..

its not that im impatient but with other chips you can flash directly from the dash at ridiculous speeds, i used to have an executer that could do this but i installed xbit for the recovery aspect
