The USB Cable funished with the Xbit is used to Flash the bios files to the Xbit.

In order to transfer files from the PC to the Xbit, you will need to

A: first install a Dashboard program that has a FTP client included

or

B: Install a Bios version that includes an FTP client

Most people first install the Evolution X dashboard, and then transfer files using FTP software from their PC to the Xbox using the FTP client built into evolution X.

There is additional information available in the evolution forum, or the bios forum that discuss FTP file transfers to the Xbox.
