Error 16 - dashboard - Other files to do with dashboard / dashboard settings (specific dashboard error)
Sounds like you've deleted some key files from your HDD.
Try this: Get the Slayers disk, format, and then restore your HDD. Hopefully this will solve your problems, then install EvoX dash via that.
Also, make sure that your BIOS is set up using a PC program like XBTools to boot from dashboards in a specific order. My order is xselect.xbe (the Xselect dashboard selector), evoxdash.xbe (EvoX) and xboxdash.xbe (MS Dash). Another idea is to use XBTools to change the colour of your boot screen and power LED, so you can tell when your chip is on.
