i got a maxtor 120g hd still in the box waiting for a new home, i would like to customize my xbox and controller,

It's normal for the Xbox to FRAG without the d0 connected properly. Connect it properly and the problem shoudl be solved. Otherwise check the alignment/solder job on your chip.

thanks for the good words kabammi - i saw the chameleon tute and "ported" it.  Notice, the new chameleons now let you do this using splicing adapters for the P and E wires - seems i'm not the only one who doesn't want to solder those points... smile.gif

yeah, rather than either pulling the wire out of the plug, or just pushing it in; I just tinned the end of my wire with a bit of solder - poked it deep into a space in the plug socket, and touched the soldering iron on the tiny exposed-part of the stealth wire - which melted the solder in the plug, fixing it to the pin..   biggrin.gif  solid!
