DMS:Because it's using USB, there will be no compatibility problem people had with LTP (parallel port) programmers

Um Actually there are more compatibility problems this way then there ever was with LTP.

Laughing My Ass Off glad I didnt get this chip until all the Guinee Pigs have done thorough testing huh!

Absolutly no problem if your motherboard is based on an Intel chipset which manages the usb controller !!!

Very easy to flash my xbit with my Asus P4C800-E deluxe, no error message at all under windows xp sp1 !!! beerchug.gif

I sent 4 of my chips back last week. I havnt got a reply yet.

Been doing more tests. I havnt found a single problem with these chips on gigabyte boards so far.

Havnt DMS heard of firmware upgrades?  I'm sure its very easy. Most usb controlled hardware have a firmware upgrade. NOTE: I'm not talking about the flash chip, I'm talking about the controller chip.

wink.gif 100% tested, in xp (normal mode) it locks some times, but still works, but I think that is a problem of having many programs runing in background, because my Pc is a web server...
