I just got off of the phone with a techie' who has the xbit chip and is haveing problems with it. there company is no longer carrying the chip due to it freezing games for some unknown reaon. The release dat is the 28th he said but The techie would not even sell me the xbit chip because its so flawed up! WARNING!!!DO NOT BUY THIS CHIP. if you preordered it cancle your order before it's too late!!!

wtf! I do not work for exodus im telling you what people dont yet know from first hand. This is going to be one of the biggest mess ups at first launch untill they find a fix for this frezeing error that is going on.

My understanding is that the Xbox won't even function with a 2MB BIOS, and that at the largest each bank could be 1MB.  But that's beside the point.

I don't understand how a chip is going to cause games to freeze.  After the BIOS loads, the chip doesn't even factor in.

What are you talking about Knocks? blink.gif Xbit is actually released and playstationone.de's customers already received the chip (but they are only able to get it tomorrow assuming that today is Sunday), so Stranger22 is going to have the chip tomorrow.
I live in France and I plan to receive it tomorrow or on Tuesday, wait and see... cool.gif

it's prolly just some fanboy of a different chip who thinks hes gunn amake a difference by saying the xbit sux...

what i have come to understand is that some games have problems running with bioses over 512k, but it has nothign to do with freezing, this guy is just soem idiot
