noob modder here, saw the xbit recently, still pretty dead set on the x2.2 but just curious as too how the xbit  comapers from a more "professional" standpoint.

It seems like a waste of money, quite personally.  It has a couple extras (USB flashing and 2MB flash ROM) which will have little or no use.  Just save your money and get an X2.2 or a Chameleon.

I'm guessing that he forgot to put the ''+'' at the end, it happens. If not then ya go with the x2lite but not the +.

Isnt designed?     Are you sure you just dont have the right numbers plugged in like 230?  The paralle port wasnt made for the mod chips in new computers...  So leaving it at that all paralle ports considering they are normal work with flashing a mod chip if you have everything rightly configured to the needed requirements.  I would not be agaist flamage here as this is what i am belived to know and not known if this is the truth?

well on the sites i go to to find out about xbit its about £10 cheaper than x2 2.2 pro

also is this a solder free installation or do you have t o solder with the xbit?

the xbit  has a pogopin design, a solder solution, and a LPC Header...

I am just curiouse on how it works lets nto forget the dms3 chips did need a upgraded version to work right.  The chip itself looks promising though and im shure its a good chip.  I am always up for new chips but i dont think this chip set the next Generation for mod chips. Hopefully the x3's will have more features than that.  We all know team Xecuter is brewing up something as we speak.  I am curiouse to see how this chip works and how stable the pogo pin set up on it is.  

Now if i was a customer for Xbits i would wait until other people have tried it first.  I am shure it wokrs just fine since the dms team released the best ps2 chip out on the market (after a recall which was fixed in a timely manner). The pogo pin solder solution and lpc headers is a nice option to have on just 1

You can compare Xbit & X2 Pro: Xbit is cheaper and has more features but if you want to buy a chip from team Xecuter which does a really good work with their bios then buy a X2 Pro, if you prefer a more advanced chip: buy a Xbit.
