my friend just ordered one from whitedog.co.uk for £35, it says it is in stock from 22nd july. Will wait and see till then, seems promising... And I am sure he cannot wait anymore for another modchip to come out...

...or an X2 BIOS, or a debug BIOS.  Just like ANY other mod chip.  dry.gif

In short, it's offering very little to wait around for.  It's nothing revolutionary, like their PS2 chip was.

No idea, but I'll tell you the same thing Team Xecuter is saying...if you want to mod your Xbox, then do it.  If you wait for the X3, then the X4 or the Chameleon2 will be just down the road.  You can't always obsess over the latest and greatest.

The Xbit is in pre-order on Divineo.fr for 49,95€.

I've asked DMS Team for a sample and they will send it when they're ready.

Really?  One of our mods asked about a sample and they abruptly refused.

Yes as you can see below, but with an unknow release date now  sad.gif

CODE
X-BIT release date undecided as yet, I will keep you informed and send out samples when ready.

Hi,

Can you give me some news about availability of X-B.I.T and if you’re always ok for a sample ?

Best regards

31st today, they seem to have taken it out of their current catalogue, but still can be seen if you do a search. Hope this doesn't turn out to be like the matrix modchip.

The X-Bit Mod Chip (X-Box Intelligent Technology) is a combination of the Scene's favourite concepts and much more. DMS Tech made an art out of turning our consumers' feedback into functionality, the X-Bit Mod Chip is no exception.

They make it sound like its the latest revolution in xbox modding technology. Apart from USB there aint much to it.
