I recently had my xbox modded with an aladdin chip.

It works perfectly when playing non-networked games, transferring files to it via the network, or watching movies via xbmc.

Where I play system links games however, it has been freezing/rebooting whenever action gets really intense.  Its bizarre.  Does this sound like a modchip issue or maybe a heat isuse?  I don't think its a problem with the networking hardware as I can watch a streaming XViD movie with no problems.
