coud be error 12 on a 1.0 xbox because dvd pcb is faulty.
could be a dead hard disk,, error 7..
could be low power on 12v line on the xbox. so you may want to check the 12v and 5v output of the psu.

sorry about the vagueness. its just without the numbers it could be anything.

i would however test the psu 1st. see if it gives out enough power you can adjust a pot on it to increase it if its to low.
if your lucky that will get you running long enough to confirm it.

Ended up being a bad hard drive.  Replaced it with a 160GB Seagate and we are now back in business.  Thanks for the help!
