Well the iceberq's on the cpu and gpu shine blue through the vents on the faceplate. This will be sitting on my tv stand so i dont want it looking like a christmas tree lol, subtle will work best.
The LAN, HDD activity and power led's are all blue too.

BEST XBOX MODIFICATION. Period.

If microsoft made a new slim line of Xboxes like this they would be making BANK. Sony reinvented the PS2 and it still has games on the shelves. You beat M$ to it and I doubt they could have done any better. Seriously amazing work there.

Thanks, glad you like it. Yes microsoft should have made a mini xbox, i would have bought one lol.
Not had time to get any more done yet due to work but as soon as i get a couple of days off i'll get the psu wiring done and install the wifi bridge and ir dongle.
I also have to work out the best way to attach the back piece to the rest of the case.

@mredude: Yeah she never understood why i would be playing games for hours, she thought they were for kids lol.
Well im still trying to find a new home so havent got any updates on this xbox yet but i'll try and get the psu finished in the next week, thats the main part im having problems with. Then its just the back plate and wifi bridge mounts to get done.

Glad you like it so far smile.gif

Thanks ghostavel, its coming together slowly. Waiting on some heatshrink tubing to finish the psu connections and figuring out a way to attach the back piece.

Dont worry about me, i'll be fine smile.gif

All games, emulators, music and movies are on the 250gb laptop hard drive. If i want to put more games on there i rip them using another xbox, then do an xbox to xbox transfer using avalaunch (as an app, i am using xbmc as dash on this xbox mini). Or i could just open it up and connect a dvd drive temporarily to rip the game to the hdd.
