~ UPDATE ~

There is absolutely no possible way to fabricate the dvd drive into the amp, so I will make a plugin in the back of the case,  for the power wires and an IDE cable, so that if needed, you can plug in the dvd drive with the 2 cables, but the wires aren't always sticking out when not in use. The xbox will have a chip and larger hd in it in a couple months, so untill then i can use the dvd drive with the cables in the back, afterwards, just use the hd for everything w00t!

I also have new pics of the inside!

It seems that I can use the existing power cord of the amp for the xbox, it is prewired to the switch and everything, but the problem is, when the switch is turned to on, it will be like connecting the cable, not turning the xbox on, so I will still have to have another button for the power. I will lay out my mobo and dvd drive in the case within the next few hours maybe and get some pictures of how they will most likely be placed.

untill then critique these...

I made paper models of all of the mobo, hd, & psu. I placed em where they're going, and snapped some pics so you guys can see the plans so far.

The back board with the mobo on it is going to be set on hinges, with the wires from the mobo close to the left (looking at it from the back) side of the amp, so the door can open. It's going to have a little screw that comes out on it on the right side of the door that you pull on to open the door. Everything else is pretty self explanatory.

But I just ran into the problem, that the HD, in order to fit in there properly, has to go against that black board, which i was planning on taking out (look at the pics), but now i have to leave it in for the HD, and the HD will be blocking the airflow.... hmm... I'll have to think about it...

Note: in the pics, the back board with the mobo on it, is upside down, the mobo will be rotated 180 degrees.

just remember, the psu connector to the hard drive won't read when u open the door wink.gif u may have a big of trouble with that unless u extend them. it would've been cool to have the headphone plug and volume control wired up too, thats definately possible!

it'd be handy to pick it up and walk off with that handle though!
