I also have the 5 fans on my XBOX but my 4 side fans are intake fans and the stock one I replaced is the exhaust.

Ya that sounds ALOT more productive, because it sucks all the cold air from the 4 fans past the psu and hd and out the back.

Still wouldnt work very well though.
There would be to much turbulence on the case.
You want as much air coming in as going out when you have a multiple fan setup.

I have 5 120mm fans on my overclocked P4. i am running variable switches to adjust fan speedn to get the same about of air coming in as out. If iu turned all my fans up full my cast temp goes up by about 2-4 degrees.

Because of the turbulance warm air and cold air mix together so keep the inside of the case warmer for longer.
1 in 1 out, 2 in 2 out so on 4 in 1 out just would not be very efficient you would get better cooling 2 in 2 out so on fan less

You don't have evox? Or you have a v1.6 xbox?

Looks nice but I would have put the 40mm on the other side to blow on the hot PSU.

First off, what are you using the extra ram for? It's only used in certain games with a patch, linux, and some emulators.

All that's giberish to me, I go by Farenheit.

But all I currently have is just that 80mm fan in the back (I took the 40mm fan out cuz it was loud). And my temps are

CPU - 130 F
MB   - 92  F

And that's after about an hour of Halo2. And it runs 24/7 as my web server.

What fanspeed are you running that 80mm at?  With my 80mm my Xbox still ran about 145 F @ 50%
