,my XBOX also was my first time that I painted, no mather if you are a noob or not, be smart read the tuts then when you have the information start praticing, when you are ready the results appear

Great paint job. It's the attention to detail that really makes a great mod, like putting the stickers back on after painting. My philosophy has been to mod the case but make it look like it was supposed to be that way. Good job!

explain what those pins were that were sticking out of the cheapmod, i dont think ive seen that before, it looked like some kind of cheapmod mod.

MacGuyver_3030 - Thoes pins? ... well the ones with the black jumpers on them are the mod chips ( OzXChip ) Wright protect / enable jumpers.

The other ones are

... the Pins i soldered onto the Mobo.. and u can simply plug or unpluff the modchip... but i didnt make my D0 so i could unclip it from the chip... so its in their until it snaps out .. the wire i though was somewhat brittle.
