My Little Modded Xbox

Thought I would share my Xbox mod project. I plan on finishing it up this weekend (parts need fresh paint and sealer) but wanted to show what I have done.

Nice work.  I think it looks pretty cool.  I'm not too in to the black and blue controller though.  But, my opinion shouldn't matter anyway.  Well done.

Thanks,

I used a new spray paint out by Krylon called Fusion. It is designed for plastics (no sanding/priming). It has held up pretty well for the last month of carrying it all over town to friends.

I'm looking for a way of painting the rubber thumbsticks white but keep the rubber texture. I'd also like to paint the cables but paint tends to flake off. Thanks for the suggestions/comments!

Nice, I just don't like colored controllers. They bug my hands.

I can't wait to paint my case, hopefully this weekend. To bad I can't post pics, damn webcam is horrible.

oh yeah, can I post pics of my modded Dreamcast? or only Xbox stuff?

I was out buying paint today and saw something called "rubber touch" or something similar at Lowe's. It's made to paint the handles of tools and such. It claimed (I've never seen anything painted with it, so this is just based on what the can said) to dry with a rubbery texture. So... if you want to paint your thumbsticks, that might be what you'd want.
If it would help you, I can swing back by the store and get the specific brand/product name.

the jewel doesnt look good, led's give it a spotlight effect. you're better off with a round cathode
