Some Games Not Working With Softmod

Does anyone have a problem with some games not working with a softmod?  I've noticed that a lot of Ubisot games just don't work on my softmodded xbox.  The originals work fine, but not the backups.  I've backed up my whole collection, and a lot of them just wont play.  Does anyone have any advice on what to do?  They work fine on my friends xbox with a chip.  It has something to do with the softmod.

Yeah, but thanks for the reply.  I'm gonna try to use the enigmah video switcher since a lot of the problems are Ubisoft games.  The video switcher seemed to 'fix' the Prince of Persia games, and my whole collection of Ubisoft games wont play.  I've got my fingers crossed.
