Cache Problem

I was able to back up my copy of EA NHL 2006. I was able to play the game without any problems.

When I turned off the system and came back to play later. I had to clear the cache again.

I have never had to do this before. I have about eight other games that I have been successful with.

Is there any advice as how to correct?
