HAH! I scoff at those who dare call me obsolete!
I'm running a SMBD NTSC HD Backup on a 1.0 PAL Xbox with Evox Dash.
MS Dash Settings:
Video Aspect: Normal
60 Hz Supported: Yes
Evox Dash Settings:
TSR: Disabled
Game Region: NTSC - North America
As for the PAL TV Issues. Apparently, using the Scart cable (Big Chunky Muf*cka that comes standard with the Xbox) resolves the colour and flickering issues. MS Magic?... Doubted, it's usually the case that any TV that supports Scart input supports Multi Video Standards anyway.
Options?
1. Get a better TV you lousy bum, you gave up on life diddn't you!
2. Find a Patch for the game that features Video Standard Conversion
3. Invest in a scart converter, I've seen some of those multi-input switches that support scart aswell as AV.
4. Put a carton of eggs in the microwave (Always good for laughs)
5. I don't know what the chances are, but perhaps the primative nature of your TV could come into play with the use of an RF Adapter?
