I have the Lite-On LDW-411S drive and if you have the latest firmware update it will burn just about any media.  You can go to www.cdfreaks.com for a review on the drive and where they tested all sorts of media from low end to high end.

With that being said, I use Memorex 4x DVD-R and have had zero problems.  You can get a 25 spindle of them on Amazon for $29.99 w/ free delivery.

I've started using the Bulkpaq 2x Gen 4 disks. They are the best yet that i've tried and for £1 a piece in the uk are pretty good value.

I bought some BulkPaq Generation 3 R2 DVD-Rs they meant to be good. Got them at £11.75 for a pack of 25.

From posts I've read, the Ritek Gold tops are not as good as silver tops..

Check out www.doom9.org > Go to their forum. Theres plenty of DVD burning info there.

                                    Princo's ARE generic.  That's why they're so cheap.  laugh.gif
