(build 551) Audio Player Bugs
« on: March 01, 2005, 04:10:00 AM »

If you insert an Audio CD in UX when the Audio Player is on screen, the CD wont play or show a track list. Nor any other CD after that.

Insert an Audio CD before you boot up your XBOX, turn it on, eject the CD before you do anything else after boot up. Bring up the Audio Player and the XBOX will reset.

Insert an Audio CD (wait for it to be recognized) and then bring up the Audio Player. The track list will start at Track 2 and, if the list is kind of long, will scroll and the highlight marker will disappear. The CD wont play either.

The only way for an Audio CD to work in UX is for the CD to be in the drive before the XBOX boots up and then opening the Audio Player. Everything will work fine until you decide to listen to another CD. The tracklist stays the same.

If you have an Audio CD in the XBOX, you'll always get the Audio CD dialog box come up when you bring up the Audio Player. Even when you still have the same CD inside.

Is it possible to add an Eject CD in the Audio CD dialog box? Ejecting it from there would be better.

This is really an audio bug, but i'll stick it here anyway.

When you change from 5.1 to stereo, the BGM will play, however going from stereo to 5.1 the music will stop, at which point you have 3 options, reboot, skip tracks or wait until the next track.

Cheers,
Stuart

If you listen to an MP3 by pressing A in the File Manager then press B, the XBOX will freeze.
