I use Unleash X and the icon/preview pic for things like emulators and homebrew games are either wrong (or mainly in my case the same icon for one game repeated over and over) or just no icon for it. Could someone explain to me how to make and change icons?

Also when i copy games they dont go into the Xbox menu for Games, they wind up in the homebrew menu. How can i change it so they are seperate.

I have the same problem (The first problem)

I installed a few homebrew games (one being supermariowar) and now all the preview icons for every game is supermariowar, and even some apps show preview as s upermariowar too.

I dont know how to change/fix it, as i would like to give each one its own preview icon

im not sure why EVERY icon is the same (even the games

)
could be fixed by delete cache ?

but to get a dif icon for each game/app then
place a icon in save path as the xbe, (like ya do with preview.wmv)
and name it icon.jpg

ps, i still dont know why there int a xbe icon injector/changer
as we have a renamer ..

Super Mario War did that 2 me aswell.... I mailed them, the reply was they diddn't think it was the super mario war causing the issue im not sure..

ok first of noticed i did a typo in my last post..
meant to say, Place a Icon in the SAME dir as the default.xbe file and name it icon.jpg (or icon.png)

the reason that you are getting same icons for many emus/homebrew
is because they are made by the same person, and they all use the SAME udata folder..
so either, place a icon along side there xbe, (like i first suggested)
or enable menu edit, press start on the item thats giving u grief, select edit item, and u will see what folder in udata its getting its icon and replce it with one ya want um all to have ! .. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

and previews, its ONLY taken from the the file named preview.wmv found along side xbe .. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

How are you able to set preview for "games" "Applications" "Emulators" as they do not have a folder with a .xbe or anything where you can put the preview.wmv in. How do you do it for these options?

You put them whereever you want, and then in the menu, go to the one you want to set ie Applications then press start and go to edit item. Go down to Preview, press A then navigate to the preview you just put on the xbox. then go to save.

All should work.

You need to enable it in the system settings of unleashx.

I figured id follow up and see if I can figure this out... Ive tried placing icon.jpg\png in along with the .xbe and it works for the single icon (replacing) not when brew like SuperMarioWar and others copy their icons over others.. the only thing i notice in common with these is they are all udata:\00000000... Is there anyway of stopping such icons from copying over others??? Has anybody figured this out yet?
