What game are you trying to play?
Does it happen with all games, or just some?

Yes all games.  For example, if I have Halo 2 in the tray when I start my system up, so it starts through the microsoft dashboard, it is in Dolby Digital.  If I start it up through Unleash X, it is not, and it is only in stereo.  The reason I know it's not in Dolby Digital is because I have my reciever set to auto.  It will auto detect the sound output, and show which speakers are on.  I also know it's not outputting the video signal at more than 480i because the game looks significantly worse.  Can anyone help me out with this?

For anyone else having problems with this, I figured out how to fix it.  I unistalled the softmod using the SID 4.0 setup screen, and then instead of installing with SID 4.0, I installed with Krayzie's NDURE V1.1 and everything works 100% (besides the fact that the UX screens is squished in for some reason).

No, SID sucks.  Always has.

UXE/Ndure are fine designs.
