I'm not sure what your asking, but you can rename the folder with file manager to any name you want.

Yes that would work.
However My goal is to be able to run a script on mine and my friends boxes to rename all the folders in our hdloader folders.

To make moving games between boxes simpler.

Right now the only way to see what game is in the folder is to go to edit xbe title.
(we all used pxhddloader to put the games on)

I could just rename the folders manually but there are lots of folders!

Is there a way to run custom scripts on ubleasehX?

Problem solved moving forward but not for games you already backed up on the HDD using HDDLoader...  wink.gif

It was useful for me when I changed over from using HDDLoader to DVD2XBOX as I had over a dozen games that were installed on the HDD using hddloader. Of course you can rename each single folder individually both through ftp and through the ux file explorer but if you have a lot of games it will take a lot of time (especially if you are gonna be using the virtual keyboard)

I haven't used the script since I first created it so there might have been some changes in the recent release of MXM that could have affected how the code works. PM me with what problems you are running into and if you need any help getting the script running in MXM as this is the UX forums...  wink.gif

BTW Great rename script!
Just got it working.(in it's orig dash)

I was asking in the unleash forum as I am now using it.
Unleash seems to have "actions" hard coded in it so I wanted to intergrate the Rename script into that.

Anyway,
All my folders are renamed and I use the built in copy disk in unleash now.
