I am trying NeXgen as an app to try it out but I am getting duplicates of my apps in the "Apps" section and my emulators are not showing up in the emulators section. Anyone else have this problem. All folders setup to match path and files are in the folders.

Is your cache enabled in the xml file? Also try deleting the cache in the m$ dashboard game saves menue then try again. Show us your XML if problems persist.

Cache is enabled and I did delete the cache folder but it did not solve the problem.

This is very odd, i've come accross it before but could not remember how I solved it. Try reinstalling nexgen (deleting it all, downloading a fresh copy).

It's actually an error in the .lua files not an xml error so no real use posting xml. Look in apps.lua in the SKINS:\\xdash\\ directory and there must be something adding in the objects twice. The latest neXgen doesn't have this problem.

Or go 2 your e: udata a folder starting with 76someteng e & delete that folder & restart ur xbox & try nexgen again should be fixed.

What is the current version of NeXgen? I've got version 1.0. Well, I've got the duplicates in apps resolved. I just copied over the xdash folder. My only other problem is I can't get an option for Dashboards on the menu for NeXgen. Any help with adding dashboard as an option to go with Applications, Games, Emulators, etc.

Hi captainrk,

The latest version available is neXgen v1.1 Beta 1.

As for the Dashboard option..... I am going to be adding that this weekend to the upcoming Beta 2 W-I-P build as it's a feature alot more people would like to see available.

With the double entry problem do u still get 2 of everything with cacheing turned off?

The double entry was solved by deleting the xdash folder and downloading the original back to the box.

Wow, version 1.1 Beta 1. Haven't seen that one before. I'll have to do some looking.
