yeah you could but to do that you would need

1) A debug bios wont work with hacked bioses
2) a copy of the XDK for the Xbox neighborhood files
3) Xbox Dev Software
4) then you send the files

whereas in th new UIX 2.0 you need

1) any hacked xbox bios
2) Xbox neighborhood prog
3) UIX 2.0

So are the xips going to be unlocked and editable in 2.0 (I read they were going to be encrypted because of a certain set of assholes)?   Or is the new winxip just for the old version of UIX?  

Being able to customize the dash is one of the best things about UIX besides UIX itself IMHO.

Either way I'm sure 2.0 will rock I can't wait to get my hands on it!

Sort of something like that. You'll be able to edit xips UIX 2.0 uses. But you wont be able to edit the ones JbOnE doesn't want you to... basically

 I forgot to point something out. Now many people are familiar with how long XBMC takes to ftp over to the box right? Well if XBMC's taking just a few seconds imagine the difference between how fast a movie or a game will transfer.
and then all you have to do to launch it is double click the xbe on the xbox!!!! :luv:

Even at it's current, UIX has got to be my favorite dash, and I've tried tons.  

As always with software in development, good things come to those who wait.

Here's my big question, it seems unlikley because its not an actual debug Bios, but Evox has Trainers, I was wondering if you would be able to take screenshots of games, or if one you start running a diff .xbe do the debug mode properties of UIX2 go away like the screenshot.

i realize an exploited 1.6 xbox won't work with the debug options but the dashboard should still work with the exploit.. right?
