Backing Up Mxm

I'm trying to backup the C: and E: on my xbox. I have MXM, i'm trying to replace my hard drive with a bigger one. Every webpage says backup your c: and e: then swap the hd's. I've backed everything up through FTP but the /backup folder in c: is not there.

Where do I find it????
