You´ll have to edit the avalaunch.xml file so that avalaunch also searches for games on your g drive.

Transfer the file to your pc and open it in notepad. Then locate these lines somewhere near the bottom of the file.

<path>
   F:\Games
</path>

and after those add these 3 lines after the previous 3

<path>
   G:\Games
</path>

Then transfer it back to your xbox.
