Is it possible just to delete the Avalaunch folder and that will remove Avalaunch ? will the XBox still work without it ?

I don't really need it. I never used it since it has been on there.

the main question is, is it your main dashboard?
if so, good luck booting next time without a recovery disc.

if not, you should be fine.
