go and update it and the anime chick will be gone

it also happens, at leat in my case, in my avalaunch.xbe file staying in the root of C. I have avalaunch default dashboard so i had to rename it to evoxdash.xbe, but i left the old avalaunch.xbe in there i guess by accident. So i delete the old .xbe and that girl with "merry christmas" is gone.

and i bet that would help no one, but there might be someone....

you can also get rid of that anime chick by making your own splash screen called "bootimage.png" (make it 640x480 in size) and store it in same folder as your avalaunch.xbe file is located and it will go away

just thought i would mention this as no one else did.

I will be installing avalaunch tonight, how can I make sure that I do get a chick?
