Illegal Login

I have been using Ava 48 (xmas one) for a while now but I recently updated to 49.3  and now everytime I try to FTP into it gives me an illegal login message. I have been trying to find the answer to this problem since I updated and cant find it anywhere. Did I miss something? Any and all help would be awesome thanks!
