System Link With Halo

I would first start by using an actual SystemLink cable which is not a "standard" ethernet cable but is a "crossover" cable.  Whenever you hook two Xboxes (or PCs) together directly you need a crossover cable if you aren't using any kind of hub/router/switch.  The other option is to use a hub/router/switch and use the standard ethernet cables.  Good luck.

That is correct. Also, Halo (and Halo 2) does not support system-link co-op.
