WOW, i made the mistake of posting a tiny reply before I looked around, but you guys went out of control with this!

LOOK AROUND BEFORE YOU WASTE SO MUCH TIME!

"I had the same problem, starting when i attempted to autoupdate the dashboard, from within avalaunch.

To fix it, I did exactly as already posted.

I looked in the folder: e:\tdata\080299ff\

and renamed the auto update file from:
auto_update_enabled
to:
auto_update_enabled[removethis2test]"
