OK - to start with I have Xbox with X2.3b Lite+ installed. I've been using it for 8mths or so and its been working fine. Overnight something has gone wrong....when I switch it on I only get red flashing light? -
I've read the post about a similar thing with Avalaunch - but I've not used that prog or changed any software for few months....
From the earlier post it seems it can be fixed by purchasing a MOD Chip programmer and reflashing the MOD Chip with a backup copy of eeprom.bin (I have one - backed up the Xbox couple of weeks ago) and using 'Addeeprom' to patch Cromwell BIOS.......
I have a couple of questions (never done this before):
1. Is this the file I need 'eeprom.bin' from by backup?
2. Cant get application 'Addeeprom' to open - Im using Win XP- why?
3. Has anyone done this before?
4. Is there anything else I should know about before I go ahead with it?
I'd really appreciate your help as I dont want to buy as new Xbox (only had it a 1year or so).......Thanks
