The .nfo file mentions
"Can be made to use your own 3d models. Simply make .x file and call it
"screensaver.x"."

What is a .x file when its at home any help please?

This is a nice gimmick would be great if i can convert 3ds files to .x files ?

OK i tried with a very basic .x model i found on the net,  and too had no joy,  the standard Ava Logo appears,  the only thing i could say which i did notice was that I could NOT delete the  screensaver.x file from my C partition as though it was being used in some way (this was via Ftp not filemanager),   as soon as i disabled the screensaver and restarted the box i could delete the file..  Dont know if this info is of any use but thought i`d post

Thanks for the all the info. I've tried creating the model using the sdk and the 3dsconv.exe tool and the results are the same, it only shows the ava logo. Granted its a nice logo but I can think of a couple of things I'd rather see. I'm assuming they'll release more info later?

You use the XDK or 3ds? I dont get what you mean. Can anybody get a simple sphere going. what about useing the exsiting screensaver.x file. open it in some program and find all you need. now just need to find something that opens .x files
