how many ppl can connect to you for voice over ip..?? and they connect to you through your xbox ip rite???

It appears that there must be some type of central voip server that you connect to. But, doing a general search on voip wasn't helpful. I'd really like to know more about this feature.

Now here is what i have found out from all the UNHELPFUL places and people.

1. goto settings/sound and edit settings for voice.

Start server starts a local server on your XBOX (port 689) This has to allowed thru firewall or portforwarded if behind a router.

Your friend would then add yuor PUBLIC ip address (no the lan ip) ,he would put that into the 4th option for the server settings.

He would then click on connect (2nd option i thnk )

swap this around for you to connect to him and vice versa ......

thats it really

but it just hangs for me in the 0.49.03.
