Avalaunch And Evox

Hi,
if I have already backed up my games to the hard disk using hdloader under Evoloutionx can I now install Avalaunch and still keep/access my saves and profiles which are on the large hard disk. Also which system would ber next in preference to Evoloutionx........in other word which are the current hot items.
