Irc Crashes

Skin download / RSS works fine but when I try IRC it crashes.

It crashes at different times sometimes. (i.e. sometimes I get more lines of the IRC login process up on screen before it crashes).

I tried a couple of servers but it's the same.

Anyone any ideas?
