<videomode enabled="1"/>  setting is broken,

AGH ! smile.gif, please make this an option again.  cannot imagine why somebody would complain on something that is *optional*

same goes for the "auto-video-mode-change"(based on XBE)  - please make that work too - it's not working anymore.

But if I dump a few mp3's in my folder the mp3's play fine.

--- hold that. I'm having the same problem with previous builds.

Im hacing problem with general freezing. Avalaunch freezes within 10 seconds of loading. It happens 80% of the time. No matter what settings i have, its still the same thing. Happens with both 48.2, 48.3 and 48.4. So, general freezing is the problem, im gonna check in to it more today and see if i can give you more specifications.

Its on a Aladdin 32 modded box, with M7 bios..

[edit] Hmm, pulled the networkcable and it seems to be working now. Anyone got
an idea on this? Is it the DHCP-function that is causing the hang-ups?
Maybe static-ip will be better?
Or is it anything else?

Thanks for a great app, my skin is coming any day now.. =)

** yea, sounds like a DNS problem actually. **

no real bug.. but why are there settings that cannot be set within avalaunch? Like the screensaver.

Furthermore I want to say: keep up the good work! I have a xbox for 4 months now, I hacked it with the audio exploit right on, I switched this week to avalaunch and I love it!

I think there's a bug with the busy led color in system info.
I set it to red and it's still orange as I setted it from 0.48.3

btw, I'm also unable to connect to the game saves server, but I don't know if it's a version bug or if the sever is down.

** debugged this one last night - it's the server that sends 1 byte too litte.  Did a quick fix for it tho, works in next rls **

I think might be similar to a previous post but I have ava both 48.4 and 48.2 freezing after a few secs when in the main screen with the network cable plugged in, no matter what i do. When the network cable is unplugged the dash works just fine. I dont know where it it trying to communicate to on what port or on what protocol. I use DHCP with a Link-Sys DI-624 router.

*edit*

I forced my Dlink to give the xbox a static private IP via mac address. I set the xml file for static IP and used my router IP (the private one from the lan side) as the the gateway and primary DNS server. I didnt know what to put as the secondary DNS server, so I put the next digit over i.e. 192.168.0.2 when the real DNS server is at 192.168.0.1, I am not sure if this could have caused a problem, but it still froze.. I'll do some more work tommarrow but im kinda feeling around in the dark for an answer..

I found a bug for you guys. Okay so I was checking out the scandisk. First I select scandisk c: That part works fine. A little popup things comes and goes. Then, immediatly after, I did a Scandisk e: and it worked just like before only this the popup message stay on the screen for a while, like 30 seconds.

Why would that be a bug?  The C drive on the XBOX is tiny compared to the E drive.  It would naturally take a lot longer to scan the E drive.
