*Ability to switch to headset only music
*Ability to turn off music
*Ability to use Audio only IP phone through speakers (if you don't have a headset)

I know that avalaunch has support for USB keyboards. But would it be possible to make it support wireless usb keyboards? Would be really nice if it was possible to use the dvd ir remote from M$ and a wireless usb keyboard.

Then I would start using avalaunch for irc.

Almost any wireless USB keyboard will work for the Xbox. My friend uses the Cordless Elite Duo. He just plugs the USB receiver in and the mouse and keyboard works flawlessly on every supported program.

Would it be possible to to make the file manager able to unrar files. Would be really nice if it was possible to choose something on my computer and unrar them to the xbox hdd.

And is it possible to make the file manager able to access files on a computer over windows network shares or samba?

Keep up the good work team avalaunch

this is not realy anyting that is neaded just thought it would be cool and easy to impliment, probly could impliment within a few minutes.

add a name opion in the .xml  for example  <name></name>

so i could put in my .xml                          <name>Mike</name>
and it would know my name is Mike
then when the app laods if there is and internet connection have it look at the clock to see what time it is and play one of the 3 following URLs:

http://client.msn.co...orning/Mike.wav
http://client.msn.co...ernoon/Mike.wav
http://client.msn.co...vening/Mike.wav

(replace the name with what ever the user has  set there name to be)

oh yah i just realized the avalaunch dosnt support WAV files so i guess that would have to be implimented befor you could do this.

We received the following to several of our contact emails:

Hi Team-OzXodus, I'm writing to you on behalf of the XBMC Project and it's developers/testers.
I was wondering if the LCD for Xenium could be controlled via software and if you care to send us 'a few' free samples of Xenium with LCD's and lowlevel interface source code to the LCD for testing and development so we can implement support for it in XboxMediaCenter as we think it would be cool if one could display music info on it, ...maybe even a spectrum analyzer on it could be possible
Looking forward to hearing from you.
Best regards / Gamester17

We have written a comprehensive library for interfacing the LCD, and incorporated a quick demo for this library into xbmc ourselves. This is not in the official tree as of yet, but we will be sending the library to the XBMC team shortly.

Any plans to incorporate the LCD into Avalaunch???

a key combination on boot to toggle from one to the other would be nice.

2. You know this already, but i think the priority should be bumped up. Long filename support smile.gif and a piece of source released for apps (emulators, for one) to be compatible with the fatx extension.

is it possible that you can play regular CDs and burned CDs without having to launch the MS Dash?

It would really make it much easier...
