Well, I know that there is already a pinned topic about this but obviously people are not getting the help they need there because they are still having trouble running trainers so here is my tutorial on how to get trainers to work in 11 easy steps.

1.  Download the latest version of Evo-X (3935 I Believe).
2.  Download Evo-X trainers from www.trainers.evolutionx.info/
3.  Place them in C:\Trainers
4.  Go to settings in the Evo-X dashboard and make sure that TSR Is Set To Normal.
5.  Save & Exit.
7.  Reboot
8.  No go to the trainers menu and select the trainer you wish to use.  Activate it and select the cheats that you wish to be enabled.
9.  DO NOT REBOOT.
10.  Go strait to the games menu and launch the game that corresponds with the trainer you just activated.
11.  Enjoy your trainer bliss.

Note:  It is also VERY important that you remember that you download the trainer that corresponds with the game region of the game you own.  For example Sonic heroes (PAL) would need a trainer called Sonic Heroes (PAL).

Look at the box the game came in and there should be a little white box on it with the letters "NTSC" or "PAL".  This is your game region.  The trainers are always labeled "PAL" or "NTSC".  Have fun.
